The Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society is in need of volunteers willing to transport dogs and cats for the following scenarios:

1. Veterinarian appointments for spay/neuter surgeries, and miscellaneous appointments.  If you live in the area of Greenfield, Turners Falls or South Deerfield and would be willing to pick up a dog or cat from DPVHS in the morning and drop of at one of the area vets. Any type of vehicle is suitable.

2. DPVHS sometimes needs to transport dogs and cats to vets in Vermont or Central Mass areas for large numbers of surgery appointments. A station wagon, SUV or van to accommodate 7-10 carriers would be needed. These trips are probably a 2-4 hour commitment.
