The Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society & the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art are proud to announce the Seventh Annual Be Kind To Animals Week Writing and Art Contest.  This event gives children the opportunity to express the wonderful relationships between people and animals and how kindness can make a difference in the lives of all of us!

Winners and all contestants will be honored at the Be Kind to Animals Celebration on Saturday, May 10^th at 3 p.m. at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.  

Local folksinger & storyteller Tim VanEgmond (www.timvanegmond.com) will once again engage and entertain children and their families with a performance that will bring the human-animal bond to life!
