The Pioneer Valley Humane Society has many wonderful cats and dogs available for adoption who are older in age or have been in residency at the shelter for a long time (or both).  These special animals are just as deserving, if not more, to be able to enjoy a kind and loving permanent home.  To help them along in their search for a new family, PVHS is offering special deals.  Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more details.  All adoptions are subject to our regular adoption policy.  Read below to see if you may be just who they are looking for...

Senior for Senior:  Quite often older cats and dogs are surrendered to DPVHS for one reason or another.  Because of their age, these companions find themselves staying at the shelter for an extended period of time.  We would like to offer any cat or dog in our care, who is over the age of seven, free to a senior household.

Lonely Hearts:  DPVHS places no time limit on the dogs and cats in our care.  They can stay at the shelter as long as needed until the right family falls in love and takes them home.  Sometimes a cat or dog can stay for as long as a year until it is finally their turn.  In an effort to speed this process along, we would like to offer a discounted adoption fee for our "Lonely Hearts"

No Lonely Hearts at this time!
